From his real name Hosana Kokou Messan KENOU, OZANE is a Togolese singer and composer with Dancehall influences from his Label SOUND PARADISE.
In 2015, he set himself the goal of producing an album, OZANE’s very first, which was finally released after 2 years of work, on May 26, 2017. An album which was certified best album of the year at the All Music Awards.
In June, he participated in a Coke Studio Africa event in Nairobi, Kenya alongside Patoranking and Alikiba.
In March 2018, he performed during a double live performance at the
MASA in Ivory Coast with his orchestra The Band and on July 21 of the same year, he united the public of Lomé around a live concert at the French Institute of Togo with nearly 1000 spectators.
In October 2018, Ozane was a grand finalist for the Prix Découvertes RFI 2018 and was distinguished at the end of the year at the Awards in the category of Special Honorary Prizes awarded to Ambassadors of Togo abroad and he is recognized as one of the French-speaking revelations of the year 2018 by Music In Africa.
French-speaking laureate for the Visa pour la Création 2019 by the French Institute of Paris, Ozane obtains a two-month residency at the Cité Internationale Des Arts in order to prepare his next album.
From the start of 2020, he released the single Petit Soldat to give strength to this African youth. Ozane performed in a double performance in March 2020 at the MASA Festival in Abidjan and became the Ivory Coast winner of the NESCAFE ONE SONG from NESTLE in August 2020.
Resident for more than a year in Ivory Coast, and in preparation for his second studio album at the start of 2021, he announces the release of a title “Vas-Y Oui” with the Ivorian artist Joochar des Kiffnobeat for May 26, 2021.
In July 2022, Ozane launches a collaboration with David Tayorault whose title is “Ton Pied Mon Pied 2.0”.
